DAZN Stadiums marks a dynamic milestone in sports broadcasting, where I was tasked with creating the first-ever GFX toolkit for DAZN’s stadiums. Each arena presented unique requirements, from center overhead videoboards to 360-degree rings and corner wedges, as well as upper and lower ribbons. The challenge involved designing looped animations that were tailored for different screen types, frame rates, and codecs per venue. This toolkit supported some of the biggest boxing events, including the iconic heavyweight championship fight between Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz Jr. In addition, I managed tile creation and ingestion, ensuring thumbnail tiles with UUID codes were perfectly aligned across DAZN’s global platform—from Canada to Japan—offering a seamless and uniform experience on the website, regardless of region. This project encapsulated the dynamic, cutting-edge technology that powers the largest live sports events worldwide.
